Renal hemangioma: This image shows anastomosing hemangioma of the kidney. It is composed of a compact anastomosing network of capillary-caliber vessels lined by plump or hobnail endothelial cells. It has a sieve-like appearance with some resemblance to splenic parenchyma, but may also raise the concern for angiosarcoma.
