Renal hemangioma: Microscopically, renal hemangioma is composed of irregular vascular spaces filled with blood and lined by a single layer of bland endothelial cells. Hemangioma subtypes seen in the kidney include both capillary and cavernous types, as well as a less common variant known as anastomosing hemangioma (shown here).
