Osteosarcoma involving the distal femoral metaphysis. The tumor has breached the cortex producing a soft tissue mass that completely encircled the bone. The tumor has variegated appearance consisting of soft, fleshy areas, foci of firm fibrous tisse, and gritty areas of irregular ossification. Areas of necrosis and hemorrhage are also seen.
