Giant Cell Tumor of Bone - Reactive Bone Formation

Giant cell tumors usually do not produce matrix, except when they extend into soft tissues or metastasize to lungs. Rarely, there may be abundant reactive bone formation with the potential of misdiagnosis as osteosarcoma.
