This case of MALT lymphoma is from a thyroid gland with Hashimoto thyroiditis. Broad sheets of pale-staining neoplastic lymphocytes surround the reactive follicles outside the preserved mantle zones. The native thyroid architecture is totally effaced. Only rare residual, atrophic thyroid follicles are seen
