Image Description

Follicular lymphoma (FL) can precede, follow, or occur simultaneously with classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) in the same node (composite lymphoma; shown in this image).

The FL component is clearly seen as monomorphous-appearing follicles surrounded by a relatively normal-appearing interfollicular region. The lighter eosinophilic areas showed cHL.
