Image Description

Lymphocyte-rich Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma: This image shows a classic binucleated Reed-Sternberg cell in a background composed of small lymphocytes, which are usually IgM+ and IgD+ small B-cells. Other inflammatory cells such as eosinophils, neutrophils, and plasma cells are rare. Expanded follicular dendritic cell networks can be discerned with CD21 and CD23 immunostains. The neoplastic cells are often surrounded by CD3+ T-cells.
