Clinically, vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN, also referred to as Bowen’s disease) presents as a red velvety, plaque-like lesion. It usually involves labia majora but may extend to anus and perineum. The image shows acanthosis, hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis, dyskeratocytes, and abnormal mitotic figures involving the entire thickness of the epidermis.
