At a high power view, one can notice the mature features of both elements in lipoleiomyomas. Adipocytes ¨C displaying large intracytoplasmic lipid droplets and peripherally displaced nucleus - are generally found in circumscribed areas within the leiomyoma, but can be present diffusely.
