Clear cell variant of urothelial carcinoma consists of abundant clear cytoplasm due to glycogen content. The tumor is usually high-grade and must be distinguished from metastatic renal cell carcinoma, clear cell adenocarcinoma, and prostatic adenocarcinoma.
