Nested variant of urothelial carcinoma is sometimes associated with tubule formation. The left half of the image shows irregularly-shaped anastomosing nests more typical of this variant. The right half of the image shows areas of tubule formation. Some of the tubules contain eosinophilic secretion in their lumen.
