Image Description
This is an example of metastatic seminoma involving the urinary bladder. The patient had undergone radical orchiectomy followed by radiation for Seminoma (pathologic Stage T3 - involvement of spermatic cord). On a follow-up visit, he was found to have a bladder lesion on CT scan of the pelvis. The histologic appearance is identical to that seen in the testis. The polygonal tumor cells with clear cytoplasm are admixed with lymphocytes and plasma cells.
