Image Description

This high-grade angiosarcoma arising in urinary bladder has an almost solid growth pattern. A few vascular spaces can be seen just beneath the urothelium. The tumor cells have epithelioid appearance with plump vesicular nuclei. Seveal mitotic figures are present. Besides radiation, other risk factors for vesical angiosarcomas include exposure to vinyl chloride, arsenic, and other chemicals.
