Image Description

Seminal vesicle from an older man shows abundant lipofuscin pigment. Seminal vesicles lack immunoreactivity for PSA and PAP and show basal cells with high molecular weight cytokeratin and p63 markers. These are helpful features in distinguishing them from prostatic adenocarcinoma when there is diagnostic dilemma in limited specimens such as biopsies.
