Image Description

Higher magnification of the previous image. The glands are small to intermediate in size and closely packed. Some of them appear to contain basal cells. The acinar cells have pale eosinophilic cytoplasm and lack prominent nucleoli. A dense spindle stroma separates the glands - a feature that is absent in prostate cancer.
