Low magnification view of adenosis in a TURP specimen. The lesion has lobular configuration, although a cluster of glands is infiltrating into the adjacent stroma on the lower right of the image. There are several large benign glands within the lobule that show branching lumina and papillary infoldings. They share nuclear and cytoplasmic features with smaller atypical glands within the focus.
