This high power view demonstrates marked variation in nuclear size and multinucleation. The cells have perinuclear halos and distinct cell borders. Although there is marked pleomorphism, no large nucleoli are seen. Fuhrman nuclear grading is not traditionally applied to chromophobe renal cell carcinoma.
