Image Description
BCL-6 coreceptor (BCOR) antibody is a newly available immunohistochemical marker that is quite useful for the diagnosis of clear cell sarcoma of kidney (CCSK) in the context of pediatric renal neoplasms. The pattern of staining is nuclear. It is negative in a subset of genetically proven CCSK.
Other BCOR-related sarcomas such as soft tissue undifferentiated small cell tumor of infancy and primitive mesenchymal myxoid tumor of infancy are also BCOR-positive. A small subset of synovial sarcomas may also be BCOR+.
