Image Description
Microscopic Features: Metanephric adenomas are well-circumscribed tumors that usually lack a capsule. Rare cases may have partial or continuous capsule. The tumor is sharply demarcated from and is in direct contact with adjacent renal parenchyma that does not show any pressure effect, as seen in this low power scan of the glass slide.
