Image Description

Gross Pathology: Metanephric adenomas are usually solid, well-circumscribed tumors sharply demarcated from the surrounding kidney. The tumor may undergo secondary changes such as hemorrhage and cyst formation. When these changes are extensive, the tumors appear grossly cystic (10-15% of cases).
