Leiomyosarcoma of Stomach

Microscopically, gastric leiomyosarcoma resembles leiomyosarcomas elsewhere. The tumor forms submucosal fascicles of malignant spindled smooth muscle cells with nuclear hyperchromasia, atypia, and numerous mitoses.
