Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma of the Rectum: Signet ring cells surrounded by pools of mucin are seen dissecting and infiltrating muscularis propria. Many of them contain blue intracellular mucin blob pushing the nucleus to one side creating the signet ring appearance.
