Pigmented PanNET : Gross Pathology
Image Description
Pigmented "black" neuroendocrine tumor of pancreas appears dark brown/black grossly due to cytoplasmic granules of lipofuscin pigment. The tumor may mimic metastatic melanoma at first glance; however, melanocytic markers are negative. See microscopic appearance here.
