Angiomyoma (Vascular Leiomyoma)

This solitary form of leiomyoma occurs in the subcutaneous tissues and contains numerous thick-walled vessels. Most common location is lower extremities and they are slightly more common in women. The patient usually complains of a slowly enlarging painful mass.
