Genital Herpes

Genital herpes in a diabetic male. The patient had confluent ulcers on the foreskin. At the interface between ulcerated and non-ulcerated areas, multinucleated keratinocytes with characteristic homogenous ground-glass intranuclear inclusions of Herpes virus are seen. There is dermal lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate.
