Category: Lymph Node

slide 1 of 2

Comments:
Aggregates of normal-appearing nevus cells may occasionally be found in the capsules of peripheral lymph nodes, usually axillary lymph nodes. The nodal parenchyma is usually unaffected. Other benign inclusions encountered in the lymph node include squamous epithelium, salivary gland tissue, thyroid follicles, mesothelial cells, breast tissue, and mullerian-type epithelium etc.   return to Lymph Node Inclusions
