Lipoblastoma : Gross Pathology

Gross Pathology: Lipoblastomas are circumscribed, soft, lobulated masses ranging in size from 1 to 15 cm. The cut surface shows tan-white fibrous trabeculae coursing through pale yellow adipose tissue. Myxoid or gelatinous foci as well as cystic areas are frequently present.
