Comments:
Note the darker cytoplasm of the lining cuboidal epithelial cells and the clear cytoplasm of the outer layer of myoepithelial cells in this case of adenomyoepithelioma of breast. Local excision is adequate treatment in most cases. The tendency of the papillary intraductal component to extend outside the confines of the gross tumor may cause recurrences.
