Comments:
Gallbladder - Low-grade Dysplasia (LGD): There is full-thickness involvement, including the surface epithelium lining the tips of mucosal folds. There is mild pseudostratification, loss of polarity, and minimal architectural distortion. The columnar epithelium shows mild nuclear enlargement with high N:C ratios and mild nuclear irregularity. Mitotic activity is increased but atypical mitoses are rare. The clinical significance and biologic behavior of LGD is not fully known.
