Cholesterol Gallstones: Gallbladder may contain a single large round stone measuring several centimeters in diameter and filling up the entire fundus, but more commonly there are several smaller round or faceted stones occupying the lumen. Facets develop when multiple stones form in tight apposition within a confined space.
