Immunophenotype: Intraductal papillary neoplasms of the bile duct (IPNBs) express various markers in accordance with the cell types. Pancreatobiliary express MUC1. Intestinal types express MUC2 (shown here), CK20, and CDX2. Gastric types express MUC5AC, MUC6, and CK7. The expression of SMAD4 is usually retained.
