Image Description

Lobular capillary hemangioma (Pyogenic granuloma) is seen on skin and mucosal surfaces. They may be seen following trauma and during pregnancy leading some to suggest that they are reactive lesions rather than neoplasms. Grossly, they appear as polypoid, red-brown mass that bleeds easily. Microscopically, they resemble granulation tissue.
