Image Description

Cardiac angiosarcomas can range from 2 to 15 cm (mean size around 7 cm) at presentation. Grossly, it appears as dark, red-brown, hemorrhagic, solid or spongy mass with areas of softening due to necrosis. Less commonly, it is ill-defined infiltrative lesion.
