Angiomatosis (Diffuse Hemangioma)

Treatment is by excision. Due to their diffuse growth pattern, complete excision is often not possible resulting in a high recurrence rate. The distinction between angiomatosis and intramuscular hemangioma is usually made using clinical rather than pathologic criteria. Malignancy has not been reported.
