Synovial Sarcoma : Case History

Synovial sarcoma within skeletal muscles of lateral thigh of a young male. The tumor was resected following neoadjuvant radiation therapy. The tumor is well-circumscribed, yellow-white and has central areas of necrosis. The yellow-white specks in the upper right quadrant of the tumor represent calcification.
