Intramuscular Myxoma

Intramuscular myxomas are relatively hypovascular and hypocellular lesions and lack cytologic atypia. Mutations in GNAS1 gene have been found in intramuscular myxomas with resultant activation of cellular oncogene protein c-Fos.
