Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma : Microscopic Features
Image Description
Microscopic Features (continued): Some dedifferentiated liposarcomas (DLPS) show homologous dedifferentiation in which the high-grade component resembles pleomorphic liposarcoma (as shown here) and consists of lipoblasts arranged singly or in clusters throughout the tumor. Many experts believe that the vast majority of pleomorphic liposarcomas in the retroperitoneum represent DLPS with homologous differentiation.
