Sclerosing atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma (ALT/WDL): The sclerosing subtype of ALT/WDL contains little or not fat. Lipoblasts are usually rare or absent. The diagnosis rests on identifying atypical stromal cells and confirming the presence of MDM2 and CDK4 amplification by FISH.
