Atypical Lipomatous Tumor/Well-Diff Liposarcoma : Lipoma-like
Image Description
Lipoma-like atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma: It is composed of mature fat admixed with variable amounts of fibrous stroma containing atypical spindle cells with hyperchromatic nuclei. There is variation in adipocyte size and few multivacuolated lipoblasts are seen. The atypical spindle cells may be numerous and easily found or so rare that the tumor looks like an ordinary lipoma. Abnormal, thick-walled blood vessels are also present.
