Microscopic Features: The distribution of pleomorphic lipoblasts in a pleomorphic liposarcoma may be quite uneven. The non-lipogenic areas resemble undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma and consist of short fascicles of atypical spindle and multinucleated giant cells. In this image, a cluster of lipoblasts is seen on the lower left.
