Image Description

Grossly, fibroma of tendon sheath is a small (usually less than 2 cm; although the example shown here measured 4 cm in size)), well-circumscribed and encapsulated tumor with a lobular growth pattern. Most cases show obvious attachment to a tendon. The cut surface has a uniform, pearly-white or gray-white color. Cases with myxoid change have a gelatinous appearance.
