Image Description

The alveolar septa can be clearly seen even at low magnification. The alveolar spaces are solidly filled with clusters of tumor cells. The patient was an elderly non-smoker. The diagnosis of pulmonary adenocarcinoma was confirmed with the help of strong positivity for TTF-1 and Napsin A. The tumor cells were negative for p63 and p40.
