Lepidic Adenocarcinoma
Image Description
Lepidic adenocarcinoma showing atypical type II pneumocytes crawling along the surface of slightly fibrotic and thickened alveolar septa.
Lepidic adenocarcinoma of lung, by definition, is a non-mucinous adenocarcinoma with predominant lepidic component. However, it must be remembered that lepidic growth pattern can be seen metastatic tumors to the lung as well as in invasive mucinous adenocarcinomas of lung.
