Metaphyseal Fibrous Defect (Non-ossifying Fibroma)

Gross specimens of non-ossifying fibromas are usually brown with foci of yellow discoloration (due to abundant content of foamy histiocytes). Intact specimens have lobulated appearance (as seen here).
