Image Description

Solid Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC): Some ABCs are predominantly solid and lack blood-filled lakes and fibrous septa. Microscopically, they are composed of loosely arranged fascicles of spindle cells, osteoclast-type giant cells as well as trabeculae of immature woven bone lined by plump osteoblasts. There is some resemblance to myositis ossificans (heterotopic ossification).
