Lace-like osteoid deposited in between frankly anaplastic tumor cells. The patient was a 13 y/o boy who presented with history of pain around his right knee joint. Plain films and MRI scans showed a lesion in upper tibia that was diagnostic of osteosarcoma. Final diagnosis was Grade 4 osteoblastic osteosarcoma.
