Image Description

Osteochondroma is the most common benign bone tumor. They make up between 30% and 35% of benign bone tumors. They arise on the surface of the bone and consist of an osseous stalk capped by cartilage. The stalk is continuous with the underlying bone. The average age at presentation is about 10 yrs. Most cases occur before 20 yrs of age.
