Grade III chondrosarcomas make up less than 5% of all chondrosarcomas. They are highly cellular and contain bizarre, hyperchromatic nuclei with prominent nucleoli. High cellularity and atypical nuclei are evident here even at low magnification. The tumor has lobular architecture.
