Image Description
The image shows a heterogenous tumor of the metaphysis extending through the medial cortex of the distal femur with an associated soft tissue mass. Parts of the lesion are clearly cartilaginous (white and glistening). Scattered regions of whitish-yellow calcification are also present. Microscopic examination showed a grade 2 chondrosarcoma.
