Chondrosarcomas may present with localized pain and/or swelling. Some cases present with a pathologic fracture (as was the case here). Chondrosarcoma is a tumor of adulthood and old age, most commonly presenting in 4th to 6th decades of life. Other salient radiographic features include areas of lucency within mineralization, cortical abnormalities such as thickening, erosion, or even frank cortical destruction with invasion of soft tissues.
